Tile Mountain

I wish I was in Heaven looking down

from atop a pile of tiles

Instead of being sat

in this corner seat,

looking on

at the 12X6

green baize

as the other feller

leads me on a -

how do you say -

A wild goose chase?

These are the rank and file,

the blood on the bathroom/

kitchen tile days.

But by cunning and by guile,

I will lay the final tile

Then, the job done,

the tournament won,

I will wait in the hall

of the tile mountain king

and call on down from the door:

Man, he's done a cracking job!
