50 Words for Rain

It sounds like waterfalls by my window,
a fast-flowing river outside the door.
If you want to go out, I won't stop yer.
I don't feel like an eel. I'm no otter.

Let me remain here. I'm warm and I'm dry.
Bring no grey to my day, no leaden skies.
I'll wait for the sun to smile through the gloom.
Unspool your cagoule. I'll be in my room.

You can take my word for it that the music contained within this record sleeve is beautiful, moving, uplifting even, but as album covers go it has to be one of the most depressing ever to grace the racks of your local John Menzies. Picture by B.R.
