You were debonair and handsome,

A charming hamster about town.

No-one could ever feel glum

While Pip Nibbleton was around.

 

Like the Spider Hamster you never stopped

Plotting great escapes down the side of the couch.

Your perpetual motion fuelled by chocolate drops

Till at last you fell asleep in mummy's pouch.

 

Your time with us was oh so short

But we loved you very deeply,

Our golden-haired Syrian prince.

You brought sunshine to Shipley.
