The man from Del Monte, he say that he loves you
But I know that he don't.
He say that he'll be there after the harvest
But I know that he won't.

You walk hand in hand along sandy beaches
But he only wants you for your peaches.
He is the head honcho, the man of affairs,
All he sees is your pineapples and pears.

He say that I'm full of jealousy and hate.
Well, DAMN STRAIGHT.
He twirls the ends of his evil moustache
As they put the fruit in the crates.

He'll serenade you by palm trees
Till you relinquish your cherries
Then he'll load up the Fruit Cocktail
And il bastardo da Del Monte will set sail
Out of your life forever...

Mario Brega (March 5, 1923 – July 23, 1994) was an Italian actor. His heavy build meant that he regularly portrayed a thug in his films particularly earlier in his career in westerns. Later in his career however, he featured in numerous Italian comedy films. Brega stood at 6 feet 4 inches and well over 250 pounds at his heaviest but after the 1960s slimmed down significantly. I think he's fab. Here he is as Corporal Wallace in The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.
