Reminiscences of a Long Eaton Blues Groupie #3: Champion Jack Dupree
One morning,
Back in the Deep South of Derbyshire,
Jack Dupree said to me:
"Mama, turn your toaster down low.
I don't want no burnt Pop-Tarts no more.
You knows I likes it hot.
(Last night was oh so swell)
But the jam in them Pop-Tarts gets hotter than hell!"
