One of only two confirmed photographs of hot-headed Crossroads Motel chef Shughie McFee. Several differing accounts have described the events preceding his mysterious death. According to one theory, McFee was murdered by the jealous husband of one of umpteen women with whom he had danced the Dashing White Sergeant. In an account by handyman-cum-simpleton Benny Hawkins, McFee had been flirting with a married woman at the Crossroads bimonthly Scottish country dance, where she gave him a bottle of Buckfast Tonic Wine poisoned by her husband.
